Welcome to Nolensville Cheerleading!
We’re excited to reintroduce this program to the Nolensville community, offering youth school aged 5-12 the opportunity to cheer on our local STARS football teams. All skill levels are welcome!
Registration opens on June 1, 2024 and will close on June 15, 2024.
This allows us to form squads, schedule uniform fittings, and order uniforms in time for the season jamboree kickoff. Spots are limited, once initial spots are filled, remaining participants will be waitlisted and promptly notified of openings.
The registration fee includes a full uniform package (Shell, Skirt, Bow, Bloomers and Pompoms) to keep at the end of the season, participant insurance, access to practice facilities, and an end-of-season award. Participants are responsible for providing their own solid white long-sleeve undershirt, white no-show crew socks, and solid white shoes.
Warm-up jackets are available to purchase separate from league fee.
There will be two uniform fitting dates on June 18th and June 24th. Attendance at one of these dates is mandatory for all cheerleaders. It is crucial, as uniforms vary in size.
Our season aligns with the Nolensville Stars tackle football schedule provided by TYSA. Cheerleaders will be divided into age division squads.
Our divisions are based on school grade year.
- 6U: Born in 2017-2019 (must be 5 years old by August 15, 2024, following WCS guidelines)
- 8U: Born in 2015-2017
- 10U: Born in 2013-2015
- 12U: Born in 2011-2013
While we strive to accommodate family connections, please note that we cannot guarantee your child will cheer for a family member, as football teams are rostered after our registration closes. We will keep our cheerleaders close in age with the football teams they support (e.g. 6U girls will cheer for peewee and 8U football teams etc).
The season runs from August to October, spanning nine weeks, including one bye week. Although football players may continue into playoffs in November, our cheerleaders will only attend home games and will not travel to away events.
Practice days and locations will be communicated by the head cheer coach once squads are formed. Practices will begin the week of July 8 and continue throughout the football season.
Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable. If late registrations can be accommodated, a $50 late fee will apply.
